"DUCK!"
I heard The Doctor yell and I dropped to the floor, just in time to feel a jet of searing hot flames shoot over me. I scrambled to my feet, hot and sweaty from the running and threw myself behind a pillar. The Doctor arrived at almost the exact same time.
"Dragons!" I heard myself exclaim, though I was panting for breath. "You brought me to a place that has dragons!"
"Well technically, they're not dragons, they're a local reptilian species of Pyroforms and normally, they're very docile." He was waving his hands as he said this, but in between his gesticulations was pulling random bits of things out of him pockets and sonicing them with his screwdriver.
"Oh, I'm so sorry I called the huge flying, fire-breathing lizards by their improper name Doctor. Maybe I should - EEK!!" I hugged the pillar as blast of fire came from the other side. The Doctor stopped what he was doing and looked at me. I'll never get used to how he can be so calm at the most inappropriate times.
"Are you being sarcastic with me again?" There was a large noise as the top of the pillar fell off.
"Never mind that right now!" I yelled, "What are you planning on doing about the local reptilian species of Pyroforms?!"
"I'm working on it, give me a minute!"
"I don't think we have a minute!" Another column beside us collapsed.
The Doctor chanced a glance at the world outside the safety of our very basic protection. He grabbed my hand and pulling me forwards shouted, "RUN!"

Laughing and dancing around the TARDIS The Doctor chortled. "There, that wasn't so bad now, was it?" I grinned at him.
"No, not once we'd stopped being chased by dragons, it wasn't so bad."
The Doctor opened his mouth to correct me but I held up my hand.
"I don't care what you call them. They were dragons."
The Doctor laughed at me. "All right, where to next? Nebulas, Nerids and Nancy Drew await! It's your turn to choose!" and he threw up his hands in glee.
"Nancy Drew? Isn't she a fictional character?"
"I dunno, there's bound to be someone in all of time and space called Nancy Drew."
I thought about it for a moment. "How about Canada?"
"Canada?! Anywhere and any-when, and you choose Canada?"
I stood up off the rail of the TARDIS and sauntered towards him, "Well, my family does think I dropped out of school to go travelling. Maybe I ought to send them a postcard. Besides, there aren't any dragons in Canada."
"OKAY! Twenty-first century Canada it is!" He ran around the console, pushing buttons, flicking switches, twisting things and yanking others. He finished next to me with a flourish. "Ready?" he asked, his hand on the lever.
"As I'll ever be." I replied, clutching onto the console. Down came the hand and I was thrown off balance by the familiar lurch of the TARDIS crashing off into her next adventure.

I have muse for The Ending, but it wouldn't work properly until I'd written this part. Silly brain. ^.^
