How do you capture the feel of the air
When there's a peace in the land and nobody there?

How do you describe the feeling you get
From being alone and not a car to be met?

How many people do you think have forgot
How it feels when you walk alone with your thoughts?

How do you know what is tranquility?
I'll take you for a walk and soon you'll see.

Imagine a road winding up a hill,
And on the other side it winds on still.

You step on to the road, just one small step.
This is walk you'll never forget.

The air is calm, clean and still.
It's good air, you can breathe your fill.

As you walk up the hill you expect to meet
Some car driving fast, pumping a beat.

But the car never comes, there's not a sound to be heard,
Apart from the sweet-singing, early bird.

As you come to the top there's a gate at the right
And in that field there are horses dark as the night.

You lean on that gate and watch them graze.
You can't help watching, you're in a daze.

Eventually you turn and walk away
To go down the hill, you could take all day.

There is a wall of grass on either side,
The perfect place for fairies to hide.

On a bit further there's a brilliant view
And you feel as if it's only been seen by you.

On down the hill it begins to get flatter
And you notice the blackberries because they are fatter.

You pick some and eat them to see if they're good
And the sweetness of them just adds to the mood.

At the end of the hill there's a winding stream,
You can sit by its banks where it's safe to dream.

You look to see where the winding stream goes,
You can't quite see but on it flows.

You pick yourself up back up the road
How long it will take nobody knows.

You see this place is called Edenordinary.
An ordinary paradise and I think it's extraondary.
I wrote this over 3 years ago... My best friend didn't believe that I wrote it... lol
Thought I'd upload it 'cause it remains a good poem. :)
